What PACC Trac is

PACC Trac is the yard operations system for hydrogen trailer facilities. It runs the work at the gate and on the pad: a trailer arriving and being identified, the inspection before a fill, the fill itself, the photographs and certificates that evidence it, the movements around the yard, the holds that stop a load leaving, and the ticket the customer gets at the end. There is a desk console for the office, a phone app for the operator on the pad, a kiosk for the gate and a wall display for the yard.

It is a workplace tool, used by producers, their customers and PACC staff. It is not a consumer app and it is not sold to individuals.

How to get an account

There is no sign-up, on purpose. PACC Trac accounts are provisioned — by PACC, or by an administrator at the organization you work for — and each one is issued to a named person with a defined scope, because every record the system keeps is attributed to whoever made it. An account you could create for yourself would not be evidence of anything.

So: if you need access, ask the person who administers PACC Trac at your own employer. If you do not know who that is, write to support@pacctrac.com and say which yard you work at.

When an account is created you are emailed a link to set your own password. Nobody at PACC chooses it for you, and nobody at PACC can read it afterwards.

Forgot your password?

On the sign-in page, choose Forgot password?, enter the email address your account was issued to, and a one-time link is sent to it. Following that link lands you on a page where you set a new password, and the link stops working once it has been used.

The reset is a web ceremony rather than an in-app one, so the iOS app's sign-in screen and account sheet both send you to that same page. That is deliberate: a reset has to work for somebody who cannot get into the app, which is the whole situation it exists for.

If the email does not arrive, check that you used the address your employer registered, then ask your PACC Trac administrator to re-send the invite.

Face ID and Touch ID on the phone

After a normal sign-in you can keep biometric sign-in on, which saves your credential into that iPhone's Keychain so the next sign-in is a glance. It is tied to that one device and signing out forgets it. If the phone says your saved credential has stopped working, sign in with your password once with the biometric option on and it re-enrolls.

Getting help

For anything the yard's own administrator cannot resolve — an account that will not open, a record that looks wrong, a question about how PACC Trac handles your data — write to support@pacctrac.com. Include the yard you work at and, if it is about a specific load, the order or ticket number on the screen.

For an urgent operational problem at the yard, use your facility's own escalation path first. PACC Trac records safety gates; it does not perform them, and no screen in it replaces the operator's own judgment or the producer's written procedures.
